After 2 minutes, Denis Olando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Menchu FC and the Atletic Club Araucaria players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Menchu FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Denis Olando hit a great ball. After 3 played minutes, Atletic Club Araucaria's Alvaro Milio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filiberto Etxeberri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atletic Club Araucaria reached it. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Menchu FC's goalkeeper Filiberto Etxeberri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Honesto in the 7th minute of play forced Atletic Club Araucaria's goalkeeper Teofilo Presebal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 minutes of play, Menchu FC's Edgard Baldovino made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teofilo Presebal was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Alvaro Milio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filiberto Etxeberri was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 20th minute, Edgard Baldovino made a precise shot to the right of Teofilo Presebal. Atletic Club Araucaria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Teofilo Presebal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonathan Honesto went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute, Braulio Dominix made a precise shot to the right of Teofilo Presebal. Atletic Club Araucaria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Braulio Dominix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Teofilo Presebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atletic Club Araucaria's Teofilo Presebal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Vigil in the 41st minute of play. With a little luck, Atletic Club Araucaria's Teofilo Presebal got control of the ball when Edgard Baldovino tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 46 minutes, Edgard Baldovino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Menchu FC and the Atletic Club Araucaria players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvaro Milio to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Leonides Vigil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Presebal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Menchu FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Jonathan Honesto hit a great ball. When Amancio Birila came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Atletic Club Araucaria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amancio Birila couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Atletic Club Araucaria booed when Menchu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Gorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atletic Club Araucaria's Alvaro Milio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Menchu FC. In the 85th match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Baldovino to maneuver through the defense. Braulio Dominix scored 6-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teofilo Presebal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute Jeremias Mincho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Presebal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Menchu FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Atletic Club Araucaria had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
