The referee ignored BENA FK's protests and gave Marc Hökqvist a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes BENA FK got a freekick which was hit by Marc Hökqvist. Remo Steingher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Hökqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remo Steingher was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Harry Hult showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 47 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabor Helfenstein made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Hökqvist in the 54th minute of play forced Chancy Olympique's goalkeeper Remo Steingher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, BENA FK's goalkeeper Johannes Kristiansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabor Helfenstein. BENA FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chancy Olympique the free kick. After 81 played minutes BENA FK got a freekick which was hit by Pål Klintæus. Zelimir Marty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, BENA FK's Marc Hökqvist got a free kick in the 88th minute. Zelimir Marty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Claude Zurbuchen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
