João Francisco Costa made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Barnabás Kinizsi sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Dombiratosi Football Club booed when Guarei FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rômulo Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, José Vítor Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Washington da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Dániel Cziráki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Rômulo Bezerra made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 71stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Sebestyén Elek would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. A collision led to Guarei FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Aloísio Ferraz hit a great ball. João Francisco Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jácint Orbán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebestyén Elek came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Guarei FC's Cristóvão Vander. But to his dismay, Cristóvão Vander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Claudinho Mota hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
