Hulki Bulut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Wållander in the 9th minute of the match. When Eric Lövgren came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Hummerfiskarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Lövgren couldn't finish the play. Gökalp Koca charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gökalp Koca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to BAŞBUĞ getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Vilgot Palm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 48 minutes into the match, Hummerfiskarna's Kjell Stolpe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hulki Bulut narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernt Ersman made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Hummerfiskarna's Kevin Wållander dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Hummerfiskarna's Vilgot Palm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alphan Toker in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Gökalp Koca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fred Karlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute of the match Mehmet Baler shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vilgot Palm showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 86 minutes into the match, BAŞBUĞ's goalkeeper Hulki Bulut had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernt Ersman. Vilgot Palm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gökalp Koca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 played minutes Hummerfiskarna got a freekick which was hit by Otto Siöman.
