When Sorin Ghișe fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Navigatii Bacău's protests and gave Sorin Ghișe a yellow card for diving instead. Sorin Ghișe kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Toader Opriș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 played minutes Jonstorp FK got a freekick which was hit by Tor Broberg. 17 minutes into the game, Navigatii Bacău's Toader Opriș nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joacim Söderberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Toader Opriș's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joacim Söderberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Aron Jugănaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joacim Söderberg having to interfere. Joacim Söderberg made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Toader Opriș sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens Månsson during the 46th minute. Sorin Ghișe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Joacim Söderberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Romeo Melinescu hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toader Opriș in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joacim Söderberg saved Jonstorp FK from getting behind. The supporters of Navigatii Bacău booed when Jonstorp FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hjalmar Palm didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Jonstorp FK's goal looked a bit too open when Toader Opriș came free, but Joacim Söderberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jens Månsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
