Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Baltasar Marquez started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Justino Astigar made a precise shot to the right of Esquipula Unanue. Tapa Red F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Xencio Traspuesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute Justino Astigar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esquipula Unanue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esquipula Unanue came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by GUSESI's Baltasar Marquez. But to his dismay, Baltasar Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 14 minutes, Tomi Salcedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tapa Red F.C and the GUSESI players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tapa Red F.C's Tomi Salcedo got a free kick in the 14th minute. Esquipula Unanue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Keegan in the 16th minute of play. Celso Oto made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Lorenzo Olavarria sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute GUSESI were awarded a corner. Kevin Keegan went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Kevin Keegan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Esquipula Unanue quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Xencio Traspuesto struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Celso Oto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tapa Red F.C. Esquipula Unanue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Keegan in the 28th minute of play. Justino Astigar kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Celso Oto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lorenzo Olavarria's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Celipe Osorio charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celipe Osorio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Celipe Osorio hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Baltasar Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esquipula Unanue having to interfere. Esquipula Unanue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Astigar in the 41st minute of play. Tapa Red F.C's Esquipula Unanue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Astigar in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lorenzo Olavarria was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Tapa Red F.C's Esquipula Unanue got control of the ball when Kevin Keegan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as GUSESI's Justino Astigar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Esquipula Unanue. That made the score 0-3 after 53 minutes of play. In the 59th minute, GUSESI's Kevin Keegan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Esquipula Unanue. Esquipula Unanue yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Tapa Red F.C's Esquipula Unanue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltasar Marquez in the 62nd minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Kevin Keegan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Esquipula Unanue, 0-5. In the 70th match minute, GUSESI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Marquez to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Tomi Salcedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celso Oto. GUSESI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomi Salcedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. 74 minutes into the match, Tapa Red F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Marquez came free, but Esquipula Unanue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Paolo Orellana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Kevin Keegan notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Tapa Red F.C's Esquipula Unanue. Esquipula Unanue was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd minute Salbatore Beneit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Oto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Justino Astigar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Esquipula Unanue. That made the score 1-7 in the 93 minute of play. The Tapa Red F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GUSESI were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
