The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Manuel Moscoso the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ORION F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Manuel Moscoso had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 9 minutes into the game, one of ORION F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 14th minute, Penuel Football Club's Niceto Ovalle dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Pablo Arauz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Osorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaston Mielgo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Danel Ayllon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Penuel Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ORION F.C. the free kick. Danel Ayllon hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Eron Reguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Villalaz in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Penuel Football Club's Ramos Cuyar got a free kick in the 26th minute. The supporters of ORION F.C. booed when Penuel Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramos Cuyar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Juan Briceño was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ORION F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Penuel Football Club the free kick. In the 30th minute, Juan Briceño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute Jorge Rojas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Arauz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niceto Ovalle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Pablo Arauz made a huge save. Pablo Arauz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramos Cuyar in the 37th minute of play. ORION F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Ramos Cuyar scored to the left of an out of position Pablo Arauz, making the score, 3-0. 44 minutes into the match, ORION F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Ovalle came free, but Pablo Arauz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, ORION F.C.'s Pablo Arauz got control of the ball when Diego Osorio tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduardo Calderón stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pablo Arauz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Munio Larrieta in the 54th minute of the match. ORION F.C.'s Pablo Arauz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Ovalle in the 56th minute of play. Gaston Mielgo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute Jorge Rojas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Arauz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Arauz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramos Cuyar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the game, Ramos Cuyar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Pablo Arauz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Osorio in the 71st minute of play forced ORION F.C.'s goalkeeper Pablo Arauz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, ORION F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Diego Osorio came free, but Pablo Arauz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Arauz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niceto Ovalle went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Penuel Football Club made a substitution. Erubiel Sesse replaced Munio Larrieta. Penuel Football Club made a substitution. Aldo Castrillo replaced Aires Viña. In the 78th match minute, ORION F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Calderón to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, Emiliano De Diego was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ORION F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Penuel Football Club the free kick. After some careless play in the ORION F.C. defense, Erubiel Sesse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pablo Arauz. The ORION F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pablo Arauz should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Penuel Football Club had played much better football throughout.
