The referee ignored Tasso FC's protests and gave Patrício Tomé a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 12 minutes, Patrício Tomé managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tasso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrício Tomé was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's goalkeeper Zeferino Távora had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicanor Laurentzi. After a defensive mix-up in Tasso FC's zone, Severo Rexino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeferino Távora came out of the goal and Severo Rexino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zeferino Távora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Rexino, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd match minute, Magicos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Urtzi to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrício Tomé in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos James saved Magicos from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Magicos's Reynaldo Noe got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Severino Taveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th play minute Moises Jakue came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zeferino Távora. 1-0. Patrício Tomé sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Severo Rexino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Zeferino Távora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Tasso FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nicanor Laurentzi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrício Tomé to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Severo Rexino notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Tasso FC's Zeferino Távora. Zeferino Távora was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Magicos booed when Tasso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrício Tomé didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeferino Távora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Jakue, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 75 minutes into the game, Nicanor Laurentzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. The referee ignored Magicos's protests and gave Severo Rexino a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes Magicos got a freekick which was hit by Severo Rexino. Magicos walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
