Gilmar de Mendonça was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Daniele Vulcano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniele Vulcano really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Botafogo AP's Caco Matos got a free kick in the 17th minute. Botafogo AP's Gilmar de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Vulcano in the 22nd minute of play. Maicon Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Daniele Vulcano struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caco Matos to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmondo Genta during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gilmar de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele Vulcano, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Filippo Andreola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Gilmar de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Daniele Vulcano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Gilmar de Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniele Vulcano in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilmar de Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the Botafogo AP players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Coriano FC.
