Real Unión CF's Honrio Moñiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jânio de Barros in the 13th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Templários MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Rozarius Buron came free, but Luiz Gustavo Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jânio de Barros in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honrio Moñiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 25 played minutes Templários MZC got a freekick which was hit by Gildo das Neves. Real Unión CF's Honrio Moñiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romário Nóbrega in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Real Unión CF booed when Templários MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gildo das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honrio Moñiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romário Nóbrega's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Real Unión CF's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Loyola came free, but Honrio Moñiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Real Unión CF getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Louis Escobar hit a great ball. Marquinhos Vianna took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Honrio Moñiz. Real Unión CF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jânio de Barros in the 38th minute of play forced Real Unión CF's goalkeeper Honrio Moñiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honrio Moñiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jânio de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 played minutes Templários MZC got a freekick which was hit by Chico Salles. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Iliana Vielva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Unión CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Iliana Vielva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Gustavo Eger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iliana Vielva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Caco Valadares hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Real Unión CF's Honrio Moñiz got control of the ball when Germano Loyola tried to sneak it across the goal line. Honrio Moñiz was a little too slow when Jânio de Barros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-5. In the 90th minute, Iliana Vielva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Templários MZC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
