The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, FC Saubrigues's Edmond Coiffier got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd minute of the match Teofan Nikolov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Éluard Coulomb skillfully saved the ball. Éluard Coulomb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asparuh Nechev, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Peycho Kolovski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Éluard Coulomb. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Zapryan Dinekov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the VN SOKOLI-VARNA defense, Salomon Buffet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orlin Alexov. The VN SOKOLI-VARNA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orlin Alexov should have stopped the shot. Peycho Kolovski charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peycho Kolovski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute, Morgan Guignard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Saubrigues fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 34 minutes into the game, Alphonse Keita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Saubrigues's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VN SOKOLI-VARNA the free kick. The supporters of VN SOKOLI-VARNA booed when FC Saubrigues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alphonse Keita didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, FC Saubrigues's Éluard Coulomb got control of the ball when Peycho Kolovski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 38th minute, Peycho Kolovski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VN SOKOLI-VARNA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Zapryan Dinekov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Saubrigues's zone, Zapryan Dinekov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Éluard Coulomb came out of the goal and Zapryan Dinekov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Salomon Buffet made the kick off in the second half. Matthieu Macquet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Orlin Alexov made a huge save. Matthieu Macquet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Orlin Alexov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Éluard Coulomb didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Asparuh Nechev went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After 65 minutes of play, VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Peycho Kolovski made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Éluard Coulomb was left in no man's land by his defense there! Éluard Coulomb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Velyo Demirev, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Peycho Kolovski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Éluard Coulomb. FC Saubrigues's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peycho Kolovski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. FC Saubrigues's Éluard Coulomb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Velyo Demirev in the 73rd minute of play. After 75 played minutes FC Saubrigues got a freekick which was hit by Faudel Langlois. After a rather tough play, VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Slavey Polihronov got a free kick in the 77th minute. Éluard Coulomb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peycho Kolovski in the 80th minute of play. FC Saubrigues's Éluard Coulomb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peycho Kolovski in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Teofan Nikolov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orlin Alexov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faudel Langlois in the 84th minute of the match. Salomon Buffet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Orlin Alexov made a huge save. 91 minutes into the match, Zapryan Dinekov notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of FC Saubrigues's Éluard Coulomb. Éluard Coulomb was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adrien Cariou charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrien Cariou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Adrien Cariou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Zapryan Dinekov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The VN SOKOLI-VARNA support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
