The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Honorio Beturian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Carl Samuelsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Francisco Arlo hit a great ball. Jens-Ove Stenström hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Uno Gadd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narciso Mikelats was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When José Luis Calderon fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ's protests and gave José Luis Calderon a yellow card for diving instead. Honorio Beturian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Samuelsson having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ's goal looked a bit too open when Uno Gadd came free, but Narciso Mikelats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Francisco Arlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jens-Ove Stenström charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jens-Ove Stenström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mountainhammer United getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jens-Ove Stenström hit a great ball. Jens-Ove Stenström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, José Luis Calderon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 40 played minutes Mountainhammer United got a freekick which was hit by Einar Heggert. If Gregorio Ostots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ronny Tunström came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Mountainhammer United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronny Tunström couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uno Gadd in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narciso Mikelats prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Uno Gadd to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Mountainhammer United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Ove Stenström to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Luis Calderon in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carl Samuelsson saved Mountainhammer United from getting behind. Carl Samuelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Luis Calderon in the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ's Francisco Arlo got a free kick in the 57th minute. The supporters of Ѱ Nuevo Dragón Rojo FC Ѱ booed when Mountainhammer United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Östen Skräddare didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Mountainhammer United defense, José Luis Calderon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carl Samuelsson. The Mountainhammer United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carl Samuelsson should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregorio Ostots got free with Carl Samuelsson in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 70 minutes of play, Mountainhammer United's Uno Gadd made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Narciso Mikelats was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th minute, Francisco Arlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uno Gadd scored 5-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Narciso Mikelats, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84th minute José Luis Calderon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Samuelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 played minutes, Mountainhammer United's Fritz Botvidsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Narciso Mikelats came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mountainhammer United reached it. In the 90th minute Uno Gadd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Mikelats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narciso Mikelats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristoffer Kråk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mountainhammer United had won after a very even match.
