Gerry Pilz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uno Gadd in the 11th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Uno Gadd took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gerry Pilz to make any attempt to save it. If Östen Skräddare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Maliğin Adamları's Gerry Pilz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uno Gadd in the 20th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Kristoffer Kråk notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of FC Maliğin Adamları's Gerry Pilz. Gerry Pilz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jerry Majerus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carl Samuelsson having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Jerry Majerus managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Maliğin Adamları's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerry Majerus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carl Samuelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the match, FC Maliğin Adamları's goalkeeper Gerry Pilz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronny Tunström. 43 minutes into the match, FC Maliğin Adamları's goal looked a bit too open when Uno Gadd came free, but Gerry Pilz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 played minutes FC Maliğin Adamları got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Majerus. Gerry Pilz was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Kristoffer Kråk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kristoffer Kråk really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uno Gadd stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Jens-Ove Stenström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Ludecke's late challenge caught a Mountainhammer United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Uno Gadd's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerry Pilz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Gerry Pilz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uno Gadd in the 89th minute of play. Gerry Pilz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ove Stenström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristoffer Kråk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerry Pilz having to interfere.
