Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when José Augusto Favoretto took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of MAZER SAF booed when Joinville City - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauã Terra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmundo Falcão made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Héctor Hernández sent off a good shot on target. In the 5th match minute, Joinville City - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. Toninho Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Augusto Favoretto in the 9th minute of play. Manfredo de Azevedo took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmundo Falcão. Edmundo Falcão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Joinville City - FSCMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Manfredo de Azevedo scored to the left of an out of position Edmundo Falcão, making the score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, MAZER SAF's Breno Bidon got a free kick in the 18th minute. Toninho Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauã Terra in the 18th minute of the match. MAZER SAF's Toninho Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho do Vale in the 21st minute of play. Claudinei Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, MAZER SAF's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano Leão came free, but Toninho Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, MAZER SAF's Claudinei Vianna got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute, Claudinei Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toninho Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Augusto Favoretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Luiz Fabiano Leão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 44 minutes of play, Joinville City - FSCMZ's José Augusto Favoretto made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toninho Schmidt was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Manfredo de Azevedo made the kick off in the second half. Edmundo Falcão came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by MAZER SAF's Héctor Hernández. But to his dismay, Héctor Hernández quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 60th minute Manfredo de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmundo Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Renato Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Paulo Renato Gonçalves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmundo Falcão. Joinville City - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Renato Gonçalves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. MAZER SAF's Doriva Carneiro was substituted for Manfredo de Azevedo. 74 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when João Carlos Fantini came free, but Edmundo Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Héctor Hernández, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Edmundo Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonsinho Medeiros in the 89th minute of play. In the 89th match minute, Joinville City - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauã Terra to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd match minute, MAZER SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luiz Prestes to maneuver through the defense. Toninho Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Leão in the 95th minute of play. MAZER SAF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
