HEJA ESLÖV's Villiam Holmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Paulo Ferreira in the 21st minute of play. When Fred Vidman fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HEJA ESLÖV's protests and gave Fred Vidman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, HEJA ESLÖV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Vidman to maneuver through the defense. Villiam Holmberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Augusto Favoretto in the 33rd minute of play. After 37th play minutes José Augusto Favoretto shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Villiam Holmberg and just under the crossbar into goal. José Augusto Favoretto came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Villiam Holmberg could save by the left post. With a little luck, HEJA ESLÖV's Villiam Holmberg got control of the ball when José Augusto Favoretto tried to sneak it across the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, José Augusto Favoretto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Villiam Holmberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Augusto Favoretto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
