In the 39th minute Ezequiel Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaká Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorian Gonçalves in the 41st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dorian Gonçalves in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kaká Reis saved OS IMPOSSIVEIS from getting behind. GeRaÇãO-83's Luciano Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Silveira in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilberto Silveira to make the kick off. OS IMPOSSIVEIS's Kaká Reis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save OS IMPOSSIVEIS from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute, Dorian Gonçalves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's goal looked a bit too open when Fiori Mazza came free, but Luciano Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luciano Dionísio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. But to his dismay, Gilberto Silveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. GeRaÇãO-83's Luciano Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiori Mazza in the 68th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Gilberto Silveira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luciano Dionísio. GeRaÇãO-83's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilberto Silveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 77th minute Cristiano Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaká Reis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elivélton Brito in the 78th minute. Cristiano Bertassi's late challenge caught a GeRaÇãO-83's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristiano Bertassi helped the player get up and apologised. Cristiano Bertassi hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 84 played minutes GeRaÇãO-83 got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Marinho. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Cristiano Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot. OS IMPOSSIVEIS's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Bertassi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Dionísio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Mazza in the 89th minute of play forced GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Luciano Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaká Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorian Gonçalves in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Almeida came free, but Luciano Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. OS IMPOSSIVEIS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
