The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cheetah Team's Bengt Ånger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Calvino in the 8th minute of play. Reconquistense FC were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Cheetah Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ladislao Neron took the corner. Reynaldo Argi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tord Jakobsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 19 played minutes Patrick Möllgren rounded Reconquistense FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Tord Jakobsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tord Jakobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Argi having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Reconquistense FC got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Iztal. If Santiago Calvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 43rd minute Santiago Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Ånger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Cheetah Team's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Calvino came free, but Bengt Ånger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cheetah Team's Mark Malmberg got a free kick in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tord Jakobsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Reconquistense FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Dalmacio Ciceron hit a great ball. Michel Skräddare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Reynaldo Argi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michel Skräddare scored 2-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reynaldo Argi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Melchor Iztal's late challenge caught a Cheetah Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melchor Iztal helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Reconquistense FC's Melchor Iztal got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute, Patrick Möllgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl-Åke Drake hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Bengt Ånger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Neron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Patrick Möllgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cheetah Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrick Möllgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Argi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bengt Ånger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santiago Calvino went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Reconquistense FC's Reynaldo Argi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Möllgren in the 92nd minute of play. Cheetah Team's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
