Flavinho Brodel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Narciso Mantilla. BINGO FUEL's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 16 played minutes GLADIADORES got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Simões. After having played for 17 minutes, Cortez Banegas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BINGO FUEL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cortez Banegas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nuxila Caroso hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Narciso Mantilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Veiga in the 22nd minute of play. Cortez Banegas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Doriva Prado made a huge save. 32 minutes into the match, GLADIADORES's goalkeeper Doriva Prado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cortez Banegas. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Doriva Prado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Narciso Mantilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by BINGO FUEL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Flavinho Brodel was slow to take the kick. During this time GLADIADORES's players had a chance to rest. When Nuxila Caroso fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BINGO FUEL's protests and gave Nuxila Caroso a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, BINGO FUEL's Nuxila Caroso got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Flavinho Brodel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 45 played minutes GLADIADORES got a freekick which was hit by Guga Gaspar. With a little luck, GLADIADORES's Doriva Prado got control of the ball when Cortez Banegas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 54th minute, Oscar Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Agnaldo Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. GLADIADORES's supporters rose to their feet, but Agnaldo Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narciso Mantilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. BINGO FUEL's Narciso Mantilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidnei Vieira in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to BINGO FUEL getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Roi Zubiaga hit a great ball. The supporters of BINGO FUEL booed when GLADIADORES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Pombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. BINGO FUEL's Narciso Mantilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save BINGO FUEL from getting a goal against them. Doriva Prado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cortez Banegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After some careless play in the BINGO FUEL defense, Oscar Veiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Narciso Mantilla. The BINGO FUEL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Narciso Mantilla should have stopped the shot. Doriva Prado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gutierre Pardelas in the 85th minute of play. After some careless play in the GLADIADORES defense, Cortez Banegas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doriva Prado. The GLADIADORES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doriva Prado should have stopped the shot. If Agnaldo Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
