Silvio Fonda charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvio Fonda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Silvio Fonda kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Frank Abreu scored 3-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clemente Cordaryal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Birmingham Railers FC booed when Atlético Zelaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Bingen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atlético Zelaya made a substitution. Emilio Fernado replaced Silvio Fonda. When Jeronimo Herena came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Atlético Zelaya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Herena couldn't finish the play. Cipriano Alvarenga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 74 minutes into the game, Alberto Chico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-4. Cipriano Alvarenga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frank Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
