Kajetan Kossakowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roch Domin in the 25th minute. After 26 played minutes FC Borówiec got a freekick which was hit by Adam Terasek. Newcastle United's Zbigniew Kalinowski got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute Gwidon Maziarz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Kossakowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kajetan Kossakowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roch Domin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 39 minute of play. Piotr Cempa came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Newcastle United's Waclaw Zagrobelny. But to his dismay, Waclaw Zagrobelny quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Kajetan Kossakowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Maziarz, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Wiktor Siekierka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kajetan Kossakowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Kajetan Kossakowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiktor Siekierka in the 61st minute of the match. Wiktor Siekierka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateusz Polakowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Piotr Cempa made a huge save.
