Emanuele Guaita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliodor Petran, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 45 played minutes CA Boca Jrs got a freekick which was hit by Ciccio Mussi. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Emanuele Guaita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliodor Petran in the 58th minute. When CA Boca Jrs's Ercole Ceresoli in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The crowd rose to their feet as Buffalo Timişoara's Iustinian Gurlui slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emanuele Guaita. That made the score 1-2 after 68 minutes of play. Buffalo Timişoara's Andrei Zâncă got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eliodor Petran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Emanuele Guaita made a huge save. Iustinian Gurlui could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Emanuele Guaita made a huge save. In the 81st match minute, CA Boca Jrs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciccio Mussi to maneuver through the defense.
