When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Arsenio Cristos took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Benedicto Beremundo to make any attempt to save it. In the 10th match minute, Caballeritos del Baile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Berdoi to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Caballeritos del Baile's Benedicto Beremundo threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arsenio Cristos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Depor Alex Return's Benedicto Beremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Cristos in the 19th minute of play. In the 19th minute Arsenio Cristos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Beremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Leandro Gaufred had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benedicto Beremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Cristos in the 26th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Arsenio Cristos took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Benedicto Beremundo to make any attempt to save it. Benedicto Beremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Cristos in the 31st minute of play. With a little luck, Depor Alex Return's Benedicto Beremundo got control of the ball when Leandro Gaufred tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leandro Gaufred recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Caballeritos del Baile's Arsenio Cristos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arsenio Cristos in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedicto Beremundo saved Depor Alex Return from getting behind. Benedicto Beremundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Cristos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arsenio Cristos to make the kick off. Benedicto Beremundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Cristos in the 52nd minute of the match. Benedicto Beremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Cristos in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Arsenio Cristos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benedicto Beremundo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Benedicto Beremundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Gabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the game, Arsenio Cristos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arsenio Cristos in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedicto Beremundo saved Depor Alex Return from getting behind. In the 72nd minute Arsenio Cristos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Beremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rdth minute of the game Arsenio Cristos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Depor Alex Return's Benedicto Beremundo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benedicto Beremundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Gaufred, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Benedicto Beremundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Cristos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Caballeritos del Baile getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Apolo Berdoi hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Aristides Bras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romulo Jobo. Benedicto Beremundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Gaufred, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. If Zeledon Quin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedicto Beremundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Cristos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Caballeritos del Baile fully deserved thier win.
