Dário Vilar came out of the goal and Bruno Figueroa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laureano Quintana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Laureano Quintana put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dário Vilar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laureano Quintana to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Laureano Quintana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dário Vilar was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. A collision led to C. S. D. In the 90th minute, Laureano Quintana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pueyrredón's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
