The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonçalo Sarmento was the one to do the kick off. Delmar Pacho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ivo Amaral came out and tried to block the shot, but Delmar Pacho slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 70th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmar Pacho in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivo Amaral saved Real Cruzeiro FC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Electric Futbol Club's Carmelo Teofilio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivo Amaral. That made the score 1-7 after 77 minutes of play. When Pablo Abalos came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Electric Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Abalos couldn't finish the play. Ivo Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Teofilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. With 87 minutes on the clock, Washington Alagoano commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Pablo Abalos shot the penalty kick right outside the post. With a little luck, Real Cruzeiro FC's Ivo Amaral got control of the ball when Delmar Pacho tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Electric Futbol Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Real Cruzeiro FC.
