Kostas Tziolas scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henry Boces, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Kostas Tziolas notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Alianza FC's Henry Boces. Henry Boces was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Henry Boces showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kostas Tziolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, Alianza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kostas Tziolas came free, but Henry Boces reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Olympiacos FC's Alexis Dellios got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute, Kostas Tziolas made a precise shot to the right of Henry Boces. Alianza FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After the first half Olympiacos FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kostas Tziolas to strike the kick off in the second half. Alexis Dellios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Boces having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, one of Alianza FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alianza FC. The crowd rose to their feet as Olympiacos FC's Kostas Tziolas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henry Boces. That made the score 0-8 after 96 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded Olympiacos FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Alianza FC.
