The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faustão Eger was the one to do the kick off. Yrigoyen.F.C's Arturo Eduino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Madureira in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 53 minutes, Faustão Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MDS Soccer Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustão Eger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Lázaro Corderro fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yrigoyen.F.C's protests and gave Lázaro Corderro a yellow card for diving instead. Lázaro Corderro kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of MDS Soccer Club booed when Yrigoyen.F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Orlo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yrigoyen.F.C's Paulino Gaueko got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arturo Eduino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Madureira in the 89th minute of the match.
