Vicente Custódio hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Luís Fabiano Mesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldão Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Pedro Arce in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Fabiano Mesquita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. きよし F.C.™'s Ronaldão Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 28 minutes, Emerson Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. きよし F.C.™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Emerson Vinhas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Pedro Arce came free, but Luís Fabiano Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ewerton Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Custódio in the 35th minute of the match. Ewerton Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Custódio in the 35th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vicente Custódio got free with Ewerton Brito in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luís Fabiano Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Freire in the 40th minute of the match. After 44 played minutes きよし F.C.™ got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Vinhas. Serginho Tavares hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Luís Fabiano Mesquita made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Emerson Vinhas sent off a good shot on target. In the 57thth minute of the game Zé Pedro Arce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Luís Fabiano Mesquita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's goalkeeper Luís Fabiano Mesquita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nestor Freire. The audience was convinced that Zé Pedro Arce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Fabiano Mesquita was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 65th minute, Enéas de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nestor Freire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zé Pedro Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Luís Fabiano Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Enéas de Castro hit a great ball. Luís Fabiano Mesquita acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 69th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emerson Vinhas. Nestor Freire's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luís Fabiano Mesquita firmly grabbed it by the left post. Zé Pedro Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fabiano Mesquita having to interfere. If Zé Pedro Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Vicente Custódio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestor Freire got free with Luís Fabiano Mesquita in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute, Emerson Vinhas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Fabiano Mesquita was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Luís Fabiano Mesquita was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Nestor Freire capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nestor Freire really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After some careless play in the Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG defense, Nestor Freire kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Fabiano Mesquita. The Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Fabiano Mesquita should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Marquez in the 97th minute of play forced Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's goalkeeper Luís Fabiano Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. きよし F.C.™ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
