Aleksander Thalbitzer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruslan Pânzaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The audience was convinced that Olfert Lodian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anton Grimalschi was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 25th minute, Helmuth Mannsmeier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Aleksander Thalbitzer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihai Briceag in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olfert Lodian in the 30th minute of play forced UFC Puturoasa's goalkeeper Anton Grimalschi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Eugen Bumbu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UFC Puturoasa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Holmkjar Hotspurs the free kick. Eugen Bumbu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olfert Lodian in the 33rd minute of play forced UFC Puturoasa's goalkeeper Anton Grimalschi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Grimalschi came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Holmkjar Hotspurs's Vilfred Bornkessel. But to his dismay, Vilfred Bornkessel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Holmkjar Hotspurs's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ruslan Blanari was slow to take the kick. During this time UFC Puturoasa's players had a chance to rest. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Holmkjar Hotspurs's Pablo Heitmann got a free kick in the 56th minute. A collision led to UFC Puturoasa getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Eugen Bumbu hit a great ball. Aleksander Thalbitzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Spãtaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihai Briceag sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Holmkjar Hotspurs made a substitution. Reinhard Buddegård replaced Walther Heltbroe. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for UFC Puturoasa! When the match had been going on for 81 minutes, Holmkjar Hotspurs's Halfdan Wøldike got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Anton Grimalschi. 84 minutes into the match, UFC Puturoasa's goal looked a bit too open when Halfdan Wøldike came free, but Anton Grimalschi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Holmkjar Hotspurs's Casper Emerek got a free kick in the 91st minute. 98 minutes into the game, Pavel Spãtaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Aleksander Thalbitzer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
