The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wawrzyniec Dylla kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Jonny Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 10th minute, Bo Allbom fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some careless play in the FC WAWER defense, Jonny Hansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patryk Solibieda. The FC WAWER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patryk Solibieda should have stopped the shot. Kalle Hafström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Patryk Solibieda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kalle Hafström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, FC WAWER's goalkeeper Patryk Solibieda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimmie Vennerlund. Charlie Gustavsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iwo Rybak, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, Ciudad Tao FC's Adrian Kilstedt got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 36 minutes, Jimmie Vennerlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciudad Tao FC and the FC WAWER players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC WAWER booed when Ciudad Tao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmie Vennerlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kalle Hafström hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Charlie Gustavsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwo Rybak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benedykt Mochadlo in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charlie Gustavsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Iwo Rybak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonny Hansson made a kick off. Filip Bergström kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Benedykt Mochadlo might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charlie Gustavsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benedykt Mochadlo ran back to his position shaking his head. When Bogumil Balonek fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC WAWER's protests and gave Bogumil Balonek a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd match minute, FC WAWER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogumil Balonek to maneuver through the defense. Wawrzyniec Dylla hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. FC WAWER made a substitution. Waclaw Drozdowski replaced Bogumil Balonek. 72 minutes into the game, Ciudad Tao FC's Kalle Hafström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patryk Solibieda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Charlie Gustavsson went to the wrong direction when Mateusz Witek was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 85th minute, Bo Allbom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC WAWER's Mateusz Witek couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 98th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ciudad Tao FC. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ciudad Tao FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC WAWER had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
