Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sledgehammer KO the free kick. Sledgehammer KO made a substitution. The crowd rose to their feet as Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Ramón Barbosa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sonny Holm. That made the score 1-1 after 87 minutes of play.
