The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Maziarz got free with Gustavo Bueno in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filip Maziarz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Gustavo Bueno made a huge save. After some careless play in the GKS Milenium defense, Fabiano Carneiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldemar Rybak. The GKS Milenium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldemar Rybak should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabiano Carneiro in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldemar Rybak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 37 minutes into the match, Filip Maziarz notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF's Gustavo Bueno. Gustavo Bueno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franciszek Witwicki during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th match minute, GKS Milenium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franciszek Witwicki to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Doni Baptista's late challenge caught a GKS Milenium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doni Baptista helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st minute, Doni Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waclaw Cupial in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Bueno saved BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF from getting behind. Gustavo Bueno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filip Maziarz went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Gustavo Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Maziarz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Filip Maziarz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Maziarz in the 68th minute of play. After 71 minutes of play, GKS Milenium's Waclaw Cupial made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustavo Bueno was left in no man's land by his defense there! GKS Milenium's Andrzej Gozdowski got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. GKS Milenium's Andrzej Makarewicz suffered a concussion after 78 minutes and had to leave the field. Agnaldo Fantini's late challenge caught a GKS Milenium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agnaldo Fantini helped the player get up and apologised. Cipriano Silveira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Waldemar Rybak firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF defense, Waclaw Cupial kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo Bueno. The BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Bueno should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute Waclaw Cupial shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. GKS Milenium had played much better football throughout.
