San Marino Thm's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kurt Hui was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With a little luck, San Marino Thm's Devis Vasquez got control of the ball when Maximus Körtge tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximus Körtge got free with Devis Vasquez in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Friesenwerdermoor's zone, Egoi Zambranos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ettore Winter came out of the goal and Egoi Zambranos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute Maximilian Göring shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Devis Vasquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egoi Zambranos kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Maximus Körtge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
