The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Klei Kuli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chip Preece, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wesley Ricketts was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Faruk Kaçi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Faruk Kaçi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Autochthonous's Julian Kola got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 18 played minutes Clapham Comets F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Calvin Bourton. After 25 played minutes Autochthonous got a freekick which was hit by Faruk Kaçi. Chip Preece charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chip Preece the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Chip Preece kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Autochthonous defense, Calvin Bourton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Klei Kuli. The Autochthonous fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Klei Kuli should have stopped the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in Clapham Comets F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Autochthonous a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Paulin Roçi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Clapham Comets F.C.'s Wesley Ricketts. 2-1. Klei Kuli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chip Preece's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Chip Preece was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Klei Kuli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Faruk Kaçi kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Tritan Jashellari kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Chip Preece managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clapham Comets F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Chip Preece was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klei Kuli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chip Preece to make the kick off. Piers Maloney struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Klei Kuli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clapham Comets F.C.. After 52 minutes, Lulëzim Curri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Autochthonous and the Clapham Comets F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lulëzim Curri hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. A collision led to Clapham Comets F.C. getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Pierre Whittingham hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Martyn Lawson got a free kick in the 58th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Faruk Kaçi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Autochthonous's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faruk Kaçi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Autochthonous defense, Piers Maloney kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Klei Kuli. The Autochthonous fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Klei Kuli should have stopped the shot. 67 minutes into the game, Frank Fowler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clapham Comets F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Autochthonous the free kick. After 67 played minutes Clapham Comets F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Frank Fowler. Wesley Ricketts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulin Roçi in the 68th minute of the match. After 72 minutes of play, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Calvin Bourton made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Klei Kuli was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Piers Maloney in the 76th minute of play forced Autochthonous's goalkeeper Klei Kuli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Chip Preece dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Chip Preece put it in 2-5 from a short distance just to the right of Klei Kuli. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Calvin Bourton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clapham Comets F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Calvin Bourton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klei Kuli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Piers Maloney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klei Kuli having to interfere. Chip Preece could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Klei Kuli made a huge save. In the 93rd minute, Calvin Bourton made a precise shot to the right of Klei Kuli. Autochthonous's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6. The Autochthonous fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Clapham Comets F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
