After 2 played minutes, Los Hermanos CIMZ's Luiz Guilherme Nascimento shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bine Šercelj came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Hermanos CIMZ reached it. Oscar Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Brkić in the 9th minute of the match. Oscar Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timi Osojnik in the 10th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Décio Figueiredo made a precise shot to the right of Bine Šercelj. FC Koper's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 20 minutes, Décio Figueiredo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Koper's Bine Šercelj tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luka Saje got free with Oscar Saraiva in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute of the match Armandinho Sena shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bine Šercelj showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 41st minute, Luiz Guilherme Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Claudio Brkić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, FC Koper's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Figueiredo came free, but Bine Šercelj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Décio Figueiredo to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Remo Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Hermanos CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Remo Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bine Šercelj breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Décio Figueiredos short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Bine Šercelj to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 59 minutes, Gabriel Bezerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Hermanos CIMZ and the FC Koper players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gabriel Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 64th minute Luka Saje shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Hermanos CIMZ's Décio Figueiredo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bine Šercelj. That made the score 0-3 after 66 minutes of play. A hard shot 71 in the game by Décio Figueiredo from a close distance when the talented Bine Šercelj managed to make a qualified save. FC Koper's players were relieved. In the 72nd minute, Los Hermanos CIMZ's Décio Figueiredo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Bine Šercelj was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Armandinho Sena. Bine Šercelj acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 80th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Armandinho Sena. FC Koper's Bine Šercelj proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save FC Koper from getting a goal against them. In the 86thth minute of the game Décio Figueiredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Koper's Bine Šercelj was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, FC Koper's Bine Šercelj got control of the ball when Remo Fernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Although FC Koper had been in control for most of the match, Los Hermanos CIMZ still came away with the win.
