If Gottfrid Gerdberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joakim Lilja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludvig Godholm in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the Eleven Nation Army defense, Hans Carlsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joakim Lilja. The Eleven Nation Army fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joakim Lilja should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Eleven Nation Army's goal looked a bit too open when Ludvig Godholm came free, but Joakim Lilja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ludvig Godholm to strike the kick off in the second half. Hans Carlsson's late challenge caught a Eleven Nation Army's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hans Carlsson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Skyborn FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Hans Carlsson hit a great ball. Kent Målare made in the 58th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Agne Lindblom however managed to control. Gösta Vallman hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Petter Rudberg was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Carlsson in the 73rd minute of play forced Eleven Nation Army's goalkeeper Joakim Lilja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joakim Lilja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hans Carlsson in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute, Kent Målare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
