FC Inter Sibiu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Jaunti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Gogo Pes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Santa Maradona's Moises Donzel got a free kick in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Santa Maradona's goal looked a bit too open when Marcu Radu came free, but Gogo Pes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gogo Pes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcu Radu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moises Donzel kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Santa Maradona's Gogo Pes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Santa Maradona from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the game, Ferdinand Vâlcu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gogo Pes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th minute, Horaţiu Corocăescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Moises Donzel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gavril Gavra hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Constantin Bota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Froylan, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, FC Inter Sibiu's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Jaunti came free, but Constantin Bota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes, Ferdinand Vâlcu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Inter Sibiu and the Santa Maradona players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcu Radu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gogo Pes came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcu Radu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcu Radu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gogo Pes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcu Radu, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Alin Dimofte managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Inter Sibiu's supporters rose to their feet, but Alin Dimofte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Pes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the match, Santa Maradona's goal looked a bit too open when Marcu Radu came free, but Gogo Pes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantin Bota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Froylan in the 58th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Santa Maradona's Constantin Bota threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Moises Donzel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gogo Pes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcu Radu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65thth minute of the game Marcu Radu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santa Maradona's Gogo Pes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Inter Sibiu's Constantin Bota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Froylan in the 67th minute of play. Gogo Pes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcu Radu in the 69th minute of the match. Marcu Radu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Gogo Pes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Santa Maradona getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Elias Polentzi hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute of the match Cazimir Mocanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gogo Pes skillfully saved the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Justino Froylan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Constantin Bota. Justino Froylan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Santa Maradona's Moises Donzel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Constantin Bota. That made the score 2-3 after 78 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcu Radu in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gogo Pes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gogo Pes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alin Dimofte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
