Santa Maradona's Gogo Pes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Hansen in the 19th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Santa Maradona got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Manex. Martin Hansens short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Gogo Pes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Elias Polentzi kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Hansen in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gogo Pes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Santa Maradona's Victor Jaunti got a free kick in the 28th minute. Gogo Pes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Hansen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santa Maradona's Gogo Pes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asgeir Lam in the 32nd minute of play. Gogo Pes was a little too slow when Martin Hansen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 43rd minute, Åge Undheim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urbano Gelacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ole Lorentzen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Hansen to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Martin Hansen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santa Maradona's Gogo Pes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
