In the 7th minute, Benjamin Napier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacinto Fe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, LA DEL MONO's Tiburcio Buinton got a free kick in the 12th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Lucero during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Aurelio Lucero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Constantino Dominic in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Esteve Florinio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 23rd minute, Chivos's Mauricio Adrio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mauricio Adrio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Chivos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mauricio Adrio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chivos! Esteve Florinio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Constantino Dominic in the 27th minute. The supporters of Chivos booed when LA DEL MONO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Mark didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Abel Valery was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chivos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LA DEL MONO the free kick. When Augusto Ereinotz fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chivos's protests and gave Augusto Ereinotz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Augusto Ereinotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godofredo Monø kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Chivos got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Napier. Aurelio Lucero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiburcio Buinton to make the kick off. Abel Valery kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Jesus Jayvier notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Chivos's Esteve Florinio. Esteve Florinio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chivos's Esteve Florinio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Mark in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of LA DEL MONO booed when Chivos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Napier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteve Florinio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Mark in the 66th minute of play. Esteve Florinio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Mark went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. 72 minutes into the match, Chivos's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Mark came free, but Esteve Florinio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Mariano Palben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Fe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantino Dominic kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Augusto Ereinotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Constantino Dominic notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Chivos's Esteve Florinio. Esteve Florinio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Palben got free with Jacinto Fe in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute, Simon Eneto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteve Florinio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Jayvier, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 97th minute Pedro Mark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Florinio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The LA DEL MONO fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chivos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
