Spectators: 163 (Terracing: 123, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) RB Chubut's Freddy Mambru started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind SSC Ambrosini's goalkeeper Ove Vassenius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ove Vassenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Héctor Bracamonte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SSC Ambrosini booed when RB Chubut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Isaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalmacio Olivar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Sillén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ove Vassenius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Héctor Bracamonte went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 38 minutes, Héctor Bracamonte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RB Chubut's supporters crossed their fingers, but Héctor Bracamonte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to SSC Ambrosini getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Rutger Öberg hit a great ball. After 46 played minutes SSC Ambrosini got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Haegg. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Eusebio Juvenal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ove Vassenius having to make a save. Dalmacio Olivar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Bäckström in the 57th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Héctor Bracamonte got free with Ove Vassenius in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. RB Chubut's Dalmacio Olivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Sillén in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Sillén in the 66th minute of play forced RB Chubut's goalkeeper Dalmacio Olivar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Gabriel Bäckström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Dalmacio Olivar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 73rd minute Gabriel Bäckström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Olivar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 played minutes RB Chubut got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Paul. In the 76th minute of the match Alf Kullgren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dalmacio Olivar skillfully saved the ball. Luis Nazario kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Gabriel Bäckström notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of RB Chubut's Dalmacio Olivar. Dalmacio Olivar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dalmacio Olivar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Sillén in the 90th minute of play. RB Chubut's Dalmacio Olivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Sillén in the 93rd minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the SSC Ambrosini players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
