After taking down the ball on Chivos's corner Mateo Omero fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ove Vassenius quite easily take care of the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Mariano Palben notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of SSC Ambrosini's Ove Vassenius. Ove Vassenius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alf Kullgren hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Mateo Omero was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ove Vassenius made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Elias Llorienzo sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Chivos booed when SSC Ambrosini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Larsfelt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Mariano Palben ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ove Vassenius was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Benjamin Napier kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ove Vassenius. That made the score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. Ove Vassenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Llorienzo in the 32nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SSC Ambrosini's zone, Elias Llorienzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ove Vassenius came out of the goal and Elias Llorienzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ove Vassenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Napier in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chivos's Esteve Distiratsu got a free kick in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elias Llorienzo to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, SSC Ambrosini's Esteve Florinio threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sebastian Haegg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 58th minute, Jens-Erik Hjelm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Mariano Palben had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ove Vassenius. SSC Ambrosini's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Palben was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Jens-Erik Hjelm hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, SSC Ambrosini's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Napier came free, but Ove Vassenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mariano Palben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to SSC Ambrosini getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Josef Larsfelt hit a great ball. Mariano Palben struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Ove Vassenius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chivos. The attack was good, but when Elias Llorienzo in the 70th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Jens-Erik Hjelm charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Chivos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
