The supporters of Newpi Academy booed when Defensores del Albinegro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Heli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Delmar Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanio Heli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Aquilino Nuñez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Defensores del Albinegro's Eustaquio Irrintzi got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Cipriano Maore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Quin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ariel Iraido charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ariel Iraido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Ariel Iraido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores del Albinegro's supporters rose to their feet, but Ariel Iraido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquilino Nuñez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aquilino Nuñez made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Ariel Iraido sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Defensores del Albinegro getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Delmar Arias hit a great ball. Sixto Richie struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Cipriano Maore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newpi Academy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Godoy in the 55th minute of play forced Defensores del Albinegro's goalkeeper Cipriano Maore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Maore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sixto Richie in the 71st minute. Andres Pacifico scored 2-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cipriano Maore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th play minute Sixto Richie came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cipriano Maore. 2-4. When the match was over Newpi Academy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Defensores del Albinegro throughout the match.
