Cipriano Maore made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Defensores del Albinegro's goalkeeper Cipriano Maore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saul Villegas. Cipriano Maore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Lozano in the 16th minute of the match. Ariel Iraido took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reynaldo Huetar. Reynaldo Huetar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Cipriano Maore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Lozano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Defensores del Albinegro's Camilo Blasco got a free kick in the 21st minute. Saul Villegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the game, Saul Villegas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAPRIMECKBEL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores del Albinegro the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, SAPRIMECKBEL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Villegas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Lozano in the 25th minute of play forced Defensores del Albinegro's goalkeeper Cipriano Maore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Defensores del Albinegro getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Leopoldo Felipillo hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Desiderio Iban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saul Villegas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Cipriano Maore when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Saul Villegas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cipriano Maore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, SAPRIMECKBEL's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Heli came free, but Reynaldo Huetar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Villegas struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Cipriano Maore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAPRIMECKBEL. After 47 minutes, Macho Bonilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SAPRIMECKBEL and the Defensores del Albinegro players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes SAPRIMECKBEL got a freekick which was hit by Macho Bonilla. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ariel Iraido to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Ariel Iraido had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reynaldo Huetar. SAPRIMECKBEL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ariel Iraido was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Damaso Crescencio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Reynaldo Huetar made a huge save. SAPRIMECKBEL's Fabio Lozano suffered a sore thigh after 65 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Delmar Arias fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defensores del Albinegro's protests and gave Delmar Arias a yellow card for diving instead. Ariel Iraido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Celso Morales fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SAPRIMECKBEL's protests and gave Celso Morales a yellow card for diving instead. Celso Morales hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. A collision led to SAPRIMECKBEL getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Chunche Portuguez hit a great ball. The supporters of SAPRIMECKBEL booed when Defensores del Albinegro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Blasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reynaldo Huetar made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Ariel Iraido sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Defensores del Albinegro had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
