Milton Heath fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 孟珂景 having to interfere. 陈云川 kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

孟珂景 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Finn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Finn in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 孟珂景 saved 重庆1997足球俱乐部 from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in 重庆1997足球俱乐部's zone, Pedro Finn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 孟珂景 came out of the goal and Pedro Finn tried to chip the ball over his head. Milton Heath took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 孟珂景. 孟珂景 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When Santos FC's Pedro Finn in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 重庆1997足球俱乐部's goalie prevented a goal.
