With an all-out effort, Dinamita on Grass's Cléber Neiva threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Silvestre Baños, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 8 minutes into the match, Nuno Barroso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cléber Neiva, 1-0. After some careless play in the Atlético-PR defense, Roberto Rubio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cléber Neiva. The Atlético-PR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cléber Neiva should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuno Barroso in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cléber Neiva saved Atlético-PR from getting behind. Igor Sainz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hermínio Medeiros's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Atlético-PR's Iuri Gaúcho got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético-PR's goalkeeper Cléber Neiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureo Bajo in the 31st minute of play forced Atlético-PR's goalkeeper Cléber Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Sérgio Jacinto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético-PR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A collision led to Atlético-PR getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Sérgio Jacinto hit a great ball. Cléber Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Baños in the 40th minute of the match. Cléber Neiva was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Nuno Barroso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nuno Barroso really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. 44 minutes into the game, Nuno Barroso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Cléber Neiva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

Cléber Neiva came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dinamita on Grass's Silvestre Baños. But to his dismay, Silvestre Baños quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. The supporters of Atlético-PR booed when Dinamita on Grass was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernando Zafrilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cléber Neiva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Benítez went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Iuri Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Atlético-PR's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Barroso came free, but Cléber Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cléber Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Barroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Atlético-PR's Cléber Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calvet Bargas in the 70th minute of play. Cléber Neiva came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Dinamita on Grass's Aureo Bajo. But to his dismay, Aureo Bajo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Cléber Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Benítez in the 74th minute of the match. Roberto Rubio hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Dinamita on Grass's Igor Sainz got control of the ball when Hermínio Medeiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Dinamita on Grass booed when Atlético-PR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dinamita on Grass's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
