Saronida FC's Lazaros Theofilakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Estebano in the 4th minute of play. PLASNIKE's Anibal Hegoi got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anibal Hegoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazaros Theofilakos having to interfere. The supporters of PLASNIKE booed when Saronida FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vassilis Nikolaidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Herauso kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Giannis Psaridis might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ladislao Tonete. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giannis Psaridis ran back to his position shaking his head. After 16 minutes of play, Saronida FC's Giannis Psaridis made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ladislao Tonete was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Anibal Hegoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Ricardo Herauso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lazaros Theofilakos. Saronida FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo Herauso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a rather tough play, PLASNIKE's Victorio Jakobe got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Ricardo Herauso made a precise shot to the right of Lazaros Theofilakos. Saronida FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Anibal Hegoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazaros Theofilakos having to interfere. Anibal Hegoi scored 1-3 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lazaros Theofilakos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Saronida FC's Manos Taganikas was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 42nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After some careless play in the Saronida FC defense, Ricardo Herauso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lazaros Theofilakos. The Saronida FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lazaros Theofilakos should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gualterio Estebano to make the kick off. Ladislao Tonete came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Saronida FC's Kyriakos Patemtzis. But to his dismay, Kyriakos Patemtzis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. In the 57th minute, Fotis Bagasakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lazaros Theofilakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Herauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PLASNIKE's Anibal Hegoi got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Fotis Bagasakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Giannis Psaridis made a precise shot to the right of Ladislao Tonete. PLASNIKE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-4. After 84 minutes of play, Saronida FC's Fotis Bagasakis made it 6-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ladislao Tonete was left in no man's land by his defense there! Saronida FC's Lazaros Theofilakos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Saronida FC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Saronida FC defense, Ricardo Herauso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lazaros Theofilakos. The Saronida FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lazaros Theofilakos should have stopped the shot. Saronida FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Anibal Hegoi scored to the left of an out of position Lazaros Theofilakos, making the score, 6-6. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
