An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisc Huștea in the 3rd minute of play forced Canarinho Atordoado's goalkeeper Nilmar Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandru Butuc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Tepedino in the 10th minute of the match. When Ferdinand Voicu fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VIP's protests and gave Ferdinand Voicu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Ferdinand Voicu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Allan Tepedino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Francisc Huștea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Otávio Pimenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 played minutes VIP got a freekick which was hit by Dan Gherguț. In the 26th minute, Francisc Huștea made a precise shot to the right of Nilmar Tande. Canarinho Atordoado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Nilmar Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horaţiu Levițchi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisc Huștea in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilmar Tande prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gavril Corocăescu took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilmar Tande. Nilmar Tande dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Nilmar Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horaţiu Levițchi in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Allan Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandru Butuc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of VIP booed when Canarinho Atordoado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nilmar Tande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisc Huștea, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Fausto Nóbrega put in a rough tackle. The supporters of VIP booed when Canarinho Atordoado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Nóbrega didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ciprian Burtea came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the VIP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciprian Burtea couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Allan Tepedino to make the kick off. Otávio Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Ciprian Burtea, 52 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Nilmar Tande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horaţiu Levițchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Canarinho Atordoado's Allan Tepedino got a free kick in the 71st minute. A hard shot by Dan Gherguț from long distance, 72 minutes into the match, got Nilmar Tande's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 74th minute, Gavril Corocăescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilmar Tande was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. 85 minutes into the match, Canarinho Atordoado's goalkeeper Nilmar Tande had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gavril Corocăescu. The crowd rose to their feet as Gavril Corocăescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nilmar Tande. That made the score 0-7 in the 87 minute of play. Nilmar Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisc Huștea in the 91st minute of play. After 94 minutes, Diogo Dionísio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canarinho Atordoado and the VIP players grew even worse after the yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, VIP's Ciprian Burtea tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Nilmar Tande made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Gavril Corocăescu sent off a good shot on target. VIP's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
