The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pál Fülöp during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gábor Vadas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Svensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Rákóczifalva SE defense, Edgar Svensson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gábor Vadas. The Rákóczifalva SE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gábor Vadas should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Rákóczifalva SE booed when IFK Gladdarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristoffer Tholsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dávid Ambrus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 15th minute of the match IFK Gladdarna got a corner. Rákóczifalva SE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kalle Lidman ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led IFK Gladdarna's Kalle Lidman to fire away a dangerous shot which Gábor Vadas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. IFK Gladdarna were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Rákóczifalva SE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kalle Lidman took the corner. Pál Fülöp received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elliot Lindström came out and tried to block the shot, but Pál Fülöp slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 22nd minute. In the 29th minute, Vilmos Horváth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pál Fülöp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, IFK Gladdarna's Hans Jansson got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 39th minute, Bertil Bryngelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgar Svensson was the one to do the kick off. IFK Gladdarna's Edgar Svensson got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Dávid Ambrus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. IFK Gladdarna's Elliot Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dávid Ambrus in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Rákóczifalva SE booed when IFK Gladdarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Säf didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to IFK Gladdarna getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Patrik Säf hit a great ball. After 68 played minutes IFK Gladdarna got a freekick which was hit by Kristoffer Tholsson. Elliot Lindström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dávid Ambrus in the 79th minute of play. When Pál Fülöp came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Rákóczifalva SE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pál Fülöp couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Edgar Svensson took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Gábor Vadas to make any attempt to save it. Rákóczifalva SE were furious when Bálint Varga was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of IFK Gladdarna booed when Rákóczifalva SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bálint Varga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute of the match Kalle Lidman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gábor Vadas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched IFK Gladdarna eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
