The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Vilo Futbol Club's Claudio Cordara got control of the ball when Ildefonso Peruxu tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Erauso in the 12th minute of play forced TALLERES's goalkeeper Ivan Mateus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TALLERES's Ivan Mateus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Belo in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vilo Futbol Club's Gaspar Celio got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute Justino Belo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Mateus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match Vilo Futbol Club got a corner. TALLERES's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gaspar Celio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gaspar Celio made a great header on Vilo Futbol Club's corner, it was just that TALLERES's Ivan Mateus managed to reach the ball for a save. After 22 minutes, Teofilo Goyo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vilo Futbol Club and the TALLERES players grew even worse after the yellow card. Teofilo Goyo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Ildefonso Peruxu struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Claudio Cordara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TALLERES. 30 minutes into the match, Leandro Hegoi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of TALLERES's Ivan Mateus. Ivan Mateus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ivan Mateus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Hegoi in the 34th minute of the match. A collision led to TALLERES getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Esteban Esquipula hit a great ball. After 36 played minutes TALLERES got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Esquipula. Leandro Hegoi scored 0-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Mateus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 45 played minutes Vilo Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Hegoi. Claudio Cordara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luciano Nafarroa in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ildefonso Peruxu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, TALLERES's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leandro Hegoi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Lino Guillen hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leandro Hegoi in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Mateus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivan Mateus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Hegoi in the 61st minute of the match. Vilo Futbol Club's Leandro Hegoi got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Vilo Futbol Club's Gaspar Celio got a free kick in the 77th minute. Claudio Cordara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Jakobe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of TALLERES booed when Vilo Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Erauso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Vilo Futbol Club's Leandro Hegoi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Justino Belo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Justino Belo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vilo Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Justino Belo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Mateus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute Leandro Hegoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Mateus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vilo Futbol Club played a much better game than TALLERES and deserved their victory. The TALLERES players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
