In the 17th match minute, Omättade Fetter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Östensson to maneuver through the defense. Narciso Foro struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Torbjörn Bäckman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandungueo. Søren Broni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Baumer having to interfere. In the 23rdth minute of the game Claudio Lorencio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Omättade Fetter's Torbjörn Bäckman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Alfonso Ordono was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandungueo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Omättade Fetter the free kick. In the 24th minute, Alfonso Ordono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudio Lorencio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Östen Löfkvist hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Lorencio in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torbjörn Bäckman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56thth minute of the game Claudio Lorencio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Omättade Fetter's Torbjörn Bäckman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 69th minute, Valentin Cambranes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torbjörn Bäckman was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Omättade Fetter's Torbjörn Bäckman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Lorencio in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes in the game Froilan Garoa did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Claudio Lorencio. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Claudio Lorencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sandungueo's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Lorencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torbjörn Bäckman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Sandungueo booed when Omättade Fetter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kwame Ongunalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudio Lorencio in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torbjörn Bäckman saved Omättade Fetter from getting behind. Dionisio Oinaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torbjörn Bäckman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Lorencio in the 94th minute of play.
