Honorato Zubillaga charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorato Zubillaga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Socanelas FC booed when AFC United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Zubillaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Socanelas FC's Claudinei Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector-Luis Conllas in the 11th minute of play. Lalo Buenaga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claudinei Oliveira came out and tried to block the shot, but Lalo Buenaga slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. Pedro Torrens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Doni Paiva took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Torrens. Pedro Torrens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Socanelas FC's Claudinei Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lalo Buenaga in the 33rd minute of play. Claudinei Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Covillas in the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, AFC United's Lalo Buenaga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudinei Oliveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hector-Luis Conllas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Claudinei Oliveira made a huge save. After 38 played minutes Socanelas FC got a freekick which was hit by Dida Motta. After having played for 39 minutes, Lalo Buenaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lalo Buenaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 40 played minutes AFC United got a freekick which was hit by Donato Covillas. A collision led to Socanelas FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Rafinha Valladares hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Socanelas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lalo Buenaga came free, but Claudinei Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lalo Buenaga in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinei Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Claudinei Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lalo Buenaga in the 51st minute of the match. Donato Covillas kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Lalo Buenaga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinei Oliveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Claudinei Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lalo Buenaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Socanelas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lalo Buenaga came free, but Claudinei Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Honorato Zubillaga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Claudinei Oliveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th match minute, Socanelas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doni Paiva to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute Lalo Buenaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Donato Covillas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Claudinei Oliveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, AFC United's Gilen Tejada got a free kick in the 75th minute. When Cléberson Bittencourt fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Socanelas FC's protests and gave Cléberson Bittencourt a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of AFC United booed when Socanelas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléberson Bittencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafinha Valladares hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes Socanelas FC got a freekick which was hit by Cauan Guedes. Socanelas FC's Claudinei Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lalo Buenaga in the 80th minute of play. Claudinei Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lalo Buenaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector-Luis Conllas in the 84th minute of play forced Socanelas FC's goalkeeper Claudinei Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinei Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lalo Buenaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When Lalo Buenaga got free in front of the goal in the 86th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Claudinei Oliveira was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Claudinei Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Covillas in the 95th minute of the match. AFC United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
